Build with AI · Learn to build
You do not need to pay a lot to learn vibe coding. Here are the courses I would start with, and how to get the most from them.
Vibe coding means you describe an app in plain words, and AI builds it. I build software this way, and I teach it. The good news is that some of the best places to learn it are free.
Below are the courses I would point a beginner to, in the order I would take them. I checked every course page on October 18, 2026. Courses by other people are labeled as not mine, and I have no affiliate links for them.

What a good vibe coding course should teach you
Before you pick a course, know what you need to learn. A good one covers these 6 skills:
- Turning an idea into a short brief. Who is the app for, and what is the one job it does?
- Writing clear prompts. Ask for one thing at a time, in plain words.
- Reading what the AI did. You do not need to write code, but you should check the result.
- Testing like a user. Click every button. Sign up as a new person.
- Fixing errors with AI. Paste the error and ask the AI to explain and fix it.
- Publishing. Getting your app to a real link you can share.
If a course skips testing or publishing, add those yourself. They are where most beginners get stuck.

How to learn vibe coding faster
Courses help, but you learn most by building. Here is the plan I give beginners:
- Take one short course. Do not stack five at once.
- Pick one tool. Lovable, Replit, or Base44 all have free plans. See my vibe coding vs no-code guide for the basics.
- Build one tiny app that solves a real problem for you.
- Write a short brief first. My no-code app guide shows how.
- Make one small change per prompt. It is cheaper, and you learn what each prompt does.
- Show it to 3 people. Their questions will teach you what to fix.
Keep a simple learning log while you build. After each session, write down three things: what you asked the AI, what it did, and what broke. In a week you will have your own cheat sheet of prompts that work. That log is worth more than any certificate.
Do you need a paid vibe coding course?
Not to start. The free courses above cover the basics well. A paid program can help later if you want live help, feedback on your app, or a plan to find customers. Before you pay for any course, check three things: who teaches it, what you will build by the end, and whether you can see a sample lesson first.
Red flags in a paid course:
- It promises fast income from your first app.
- You cannot see who teaches it or what they have built.
- It only shows one tool and never shows publishing.
- There is no sample lesson and no clear list of what you will build.
Results from any course are not guaranteed. What you build depends on the work you put in.
