Digistore24 is an affiliate marketplace for digital products and more. Here is how it works, how and when you get paid, and the rules to know.
Digistore24 is an online marketplace where product owners list offers and affiliates promote them for a commission. It handles the checkout, the tracking, and the payouts.
On October 24, 2026, I went through Digistore24's affiliate page and its help center articles on payouts, payout rules, and affiliate questions. Here is how it works, how you get paid, and what to watch out for.
Quick answer
Digistore24 is an affiliate marketplace. Signing up is free. You pick an offer, grab your promo link, and earn a commission when someone buys. Its help center lists four payout dates a month (the 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th), with a minimum of 50 on the 7th and 200 on the other dates. It holds back 10% of earnings for 60 days to cover refunds.
What is Digistore24?
Digistore24 is a platform that sits between product owners (it calls them vendors or brands) and affiliates. Vendors list products. Affiliates promote them. Digistore24 runs the checkout and pays everyone.
Its affiliate page says it has "10,000+ Offers Across 44 Niches." These include digital products, supplements, books, and more.
It is similar to ClickBank in how it works. If you are comparing the two, see my ClickBank review.
How Digistore24 works for affiliates
The affiliate page lays out three steps: "Register for Free," "Grab Your Promo Link," and get paid.
- Sign up free as an affiliate.
- Browse the marketplace and pick an offer that fits your audience.
- Get your promo link. This link tracks who sent the buyer.
- Share it in email, on social, on a blog, or in ads.
- Earn a commission when someone buys.
Here is a walkthrough I recorded on getting started with Digistore24:
My video: A beginner walkthrough of Digistore24. I recorded this in 2022, so some screens and rules may look different now. Use the help center for current rules.
Any results mentioned in videos are not typical and are not a promise of income. Your results depend on your work and your market.
Not every product is on the marketplace
The help center says "Every vendor can decide for themselves whether they want to list the product on the marketplace." If you want to promote a product you do not see, you can contact the vendor directly.
Vendors can say no
You only earn from vendors you have a partnership with. The help center lists "The vendor has rejected the partnership (Error code AM17)" as one reason a sale may not pay you. So check your partnership status before you send traffic.
Commissions and cookies
Here is the affiliate terms panel from Digistore24's affiliate page on October 24, 2026:

- Commission rate: "Up to 100%." Each vendor sets its own rate, so check each offer.
- Commission types: CPA (a set amount per sale) and revenue share (a percent of the sale).
- Cookie window: 180 days. The page says you can earn on sales "up to 180 days after a visitor clicks your link."
The last click wins
The help center explains what happens if a buyer clicks two affiliate links. If they click your link and then click another affiliate's link before buying, a new cookie is set for the other affiliate. Your link gets overwritten, so the last affiliate link usually gets the sale.
Cookies also do not follow people across devices. If someone clicks on their phone and buys on a laptop, the sale may not track to you.
How Digistore24 payouts work
Payouts have several rules to learn. Here is the payout table from the help center:

The help center says "Payouts are possible on four regular dates per calendar month." You can pick one, two, or all four:
- 7th: minimum payout of 50 (in euros, dollars, Swiss francs, or pounds).
- 14th, 21st, and 28th: minimum of 200.
- International transfers: minimum of 250 on any date.
After a payout date, the help center says "it can take up to ten business days for the money to arrive in your account."
Weekly or four times a month?
Here is a conflict I want to be clear about. The affiliate page says Digistore24 pays "up to 3 times per week." The help center article on payout dates lists four dates per month. I could not find which accounts get the faster schedule. So check the payout settings inside your own account to see what you can choose.
Payouts are automatic
The help center says "A manual payout by Digistore24 staff is not possible, even upon request." If you do not meet the rules, the money stays in your account until you do.

The 10% security deposit
This one is easy to miss. Since buyers can ask for refunds, Digistore24 holds back part of your earnings.
The help center says "10% of your earnings are withheld for 60 days before they are also paid out." Another article puts it this way: 90% is paid after 14 days and the rest after 60 days. It adds that the timing "may vary for higher priced products."
That 10% hold can also keep you under the payout minimum. For example, if you earned 210, only about 189 may be ready to pay, which is over 50 but under 200. So it would wait for the 7th, when the minimum is 50.
Refunds come out of your earnings
If a buyer gets a refund or files a chargeback, your commission is taken back. The help center says this shows on your dashboard "with a minus in front of the amount." It also says upcoming payout numbers "are just estimates."
What you need to set up before you get paid
The help center lists these steps in your payout settings:
- Pick payout dates and your payout threshold.
- Pick a payout currency.
- Pick the Digistore24 reseller that pays you.
- Pick a payout method, like PayPal or bank transfer.
- Add a VAT ID or tax number if it applies to you.
On that last point, the help center says: "If your company is based in Europe and you sell through the reseller Digistore24 GmbH, your VAT ID or tax number is required for payouts." Rules can vary by country, so read the payout requirements for where you live.
How to pick a good offer
A high commission means nothing if nobody buys or everyone asks for a refund. Here is what I look at:
- Fit: does it solve a real problem for the people who already follow you?
- Sales page: would you buy from it? Is it honest, with no wild claims?
- Refund risk: products that overpromise get refunded, and refunds come out of your pay.
- Support: can you reach the vendor if something breaks?
- Your own test: buy or review the product if you can, so you know what you are sharing.
Be careful in health and money niches. Products in those niches often make big claims. If you repeat a claim, you are responsible for it too.

Always disclose your links
When you share an affiliate link, tell people. The FTC says that if there is a connection between you and the seller that people would not expect, it "should be disclosed clearly." A short line like I earn a commission if you buy through my link works.
Put it near the link, not hidden at the bottom of the page.
Is Digistore24 worth it?
It can be a good fit if you:
- Want a wide choice of offers in one place (the affiliate page says 10,000+).
- Like a long 180 day cookie window.
- Are fine with automatic payouts on set dates.
Think twice if you:
- Need cash fast and cannot wait for payout dates and the 10% hold.
- Want to promote software you already use. Direct programs may pay better.
- Plan to send paid traffic before you know an offer converts.
